In 2010 Sen. Bob Menendez voted to enact a brand-new tax on the sale of homes. Sen. Bob Menendez voted for this during one of the most horrific housing markets in recent history. When families are struggling to sell their homes, as housing prices plunge Sen. Bob Menendez voted to take even more money from families struggling to sell their homes.

Since Sen. Menendez first went to Washington DC in 1993 as a congressman gas prices are up more than 150% Gas has gone from only $1 a gallon in 1993 to now approaching $4 a gallon, killing jobs and hurting hard-working New Jersey families!

In 2009 Sen. Bob Menendez voted to give a tax break to those who buy private jets a.k.a. the 1% Sen. Bob Menendez claims to be a champion of the middle class, but yet his actions speak louder than his words.

When Bob Menendez frist went to Washington as a congressman back in 1993 the national debt was only $4 trillion not $15,424,222,206,245.62 that it is today. To put in perspective how much the national debt has increased during Sen. Bob Menendez's time in Washington you could purchase over 16 million Ferrari Enzo's at a cost of $670,000 each!

Fact 3 : Sen. Bob Menendez was under federal investigation for criminal and ethics violations from 2006 till 2011. 

The investigation stems from then Congressman Bob Menendez receiving hundreds of thousands of dollars from a supposedly nonprofit organization (North Hudson Community Action Corp.) who was receiving millions in federal grant money.
